Introducing the PVcase rebranding, from Sylvia Jensen, Senior Vice President at PVcase
Solar industry legend suggests that about 80% of solar projects end up in the shade.
I joined PVcase in September 2024, and as someone new to the field, I wondered: what’s preventing these vital projects from powering our world?
The journey from initial concept to a fully operational solar farm is undeniably complex. Think of it — a multitude of steps, a diverse cast of stakeholders, and a whole host of potential roadblocks. We’re talking about intricate planning, securing often elusive funding, navigating local ordinances and zoning regulations, tackling grid interconnection hurdles, addressing community considerations, and that’s just scratching the surface!
To put it simply, the path to solar success is often fraught with:

That’s a stark reality we at PVcase are determined to change.
From design experts to development enablers
Solar isn’t just about clean energy — it’s also a business. Every project that doesn’t see the light of day stalls progress, costing you precious time, investment, and unrealized revenue. On top of all, it impacts your bottom line and hinders future growth.
As a solar industry player, you’re constantly balancing the drive for successful project delivery against a relentless barrage of external hurdles — often without the systems and transparency you need to navigate them effectively.
At PVcase, we’ve spent nearly a decade leading the solar design category. But as solar projects scale globally, so does the complexity — and the stakes. Observing the challenges our customers face daily has been a driving force behind this evolution at PVcase. That’s why we’ve expanded beyond design to provide a complete end-to-end solar project development platform.
“This is more than a rebrand. It’s a renewed mission: to optimize solar development projects with one powerful platform. Because when more projects succeed, the solar industry thrives — and so does our planet.” David Trainavicius, CEO
One end-to-end solar project development platform
It’s time for the solar industry to bring more viable projects to life. By providing high-end analysis for every potential failure point and reducing friction across the value chain, PVcase increases your project’s success rate — economically and sustainably.
PVcase is a new way of working. Our end-to-end platform empowers industry leaders at every stage, from site selection and design to yield optimization. By simplifying complexity, maintaining data consistency, and streamlining workflows, PVcase moves your solar projects forward.
For me, this new platform represents the culmination of years of listening, learning, and a deep commitment to the success of solar energy. Forget the guesswork, lost data, and juggling disconnected tools. Now you have flexible, intuitive solutions that put you firmly in control of your projects — from the very beginning to the final outcome.
We’ve poured our expertise and passion into building a solution that I truly believe will empower you to bring more projects to fruition. Whether you’re developing 10 MW or 1 GW solar power projects, PVcase enables more solar projects to see the light of day.
New PVcase visual identity: bolder, innovative, captivating
PVcase unveils a powerful new visual identity, reflecting its unified platform with a bolder, more progressive look. The new logo features a unique icon paired with a custom wordmark. This icon cleverly combines the core concepts of photons and data packets, symbolizing connectivity and the potent force of solar energy that drives our platform.

At the heart of the new PVcase color palette is 527 THz — a vibrant fluorescent yellow embodying the very essence of your work: the movement of photons. This color is the energy you harness and the light of day you convert into opportunity. It’s accompanied by 690 THz — royal blue.
Our new color palette offers users a visual distinction, mirroring the ever-present duality of solar power: light and shade.

The PVcase platform retains its core functionality, now visually enhanced with four new colors derived from the light spectrum. These hues represent and reinforce the energy, dynamism, and adaptability of the system.
PVcase products boast visual identities that intuitively reflect their functions and names.

PVcase Prospect shines in orange, while PVcase Yield radiates in purple. Each product logo is illuminated by the essence of solar energy — photons, the heart of the light that drives each solar project forward.
For example, PVcase Ground Mount is represented by green, with an icon depicting photons reaching the earth, symbolizing its ground-based nature within green landscapes. Similarly, PVcase Roof Mount is depicted in yellow, with photons falling onto rooftops.
Let’s move solar forward. Together.
PVcase now supports 1,500+ customers in over 75 countries. Every year, more than 4 TW of solar projects see the light of day using PVcase technology. Our platform doesn’t just save you valuable time — it also unlocks meaningful global impact, decisively streamlining your workflows and enabling you to leverage every ray of opportunity.
“At PVcase, we’re energized by what’s possible. We believe that enabling solar project success will accelerate the transition to a net-zero economy. With the flexible, expertly built platform, your team gains the clarity and control needed to make bold moves with confidence.” David Trainavicius, CEO
Let’s turn ideas into energy. Let’s bring more solar projects into the light.
This is PVcase. This is solar that sees the light of day. #MoveSolarForward
