Our winter release integrates AI-powered community sentiment, real-time QuickYield simulations at the parcel level, and national-scale grid data to move projects from feasibility to construction with unprecedented precision.

These updates empower developers to work with greater speed and efficiency, but more importantly, they provide the scalable solutions necessary to accelerate solar deployment at the pace the energy transition demands.

PVcase Prospect

Blindleister German grid data

PVcase Prospect now leverages technical analytical data from Blindleister for German sites. This integration delivers four new, national-scale data layers: Capacity Atlas, Curtailment, General Infrastructure, and Network Expansion Plan. Instead of relying on manual, fragmented data gathering, developers now expertly filter sites based on immediate capacity and grid stability needs, accelerating early-stage site qualification and saving significant due diligence time and cost.

QuickYield in layouts

The QuickYield integration provides an immediate, simplified AC yield calculation directly within the parcel data table of your layouts. This simulation moves beyond DC capacity, providing a more realistic comparison of sites by accounting for losses and local weather data. Users can view AC yield results in the data table for quick sorting and filtering, enabling rapid comparison of potential sites.

Neutral grayscale basemap

A new grayscale basemap is now available in PVcase Prospect, providing a neutral, distraction-free backdrop for your project data. Located at the top of the Layer Catalog, this option removes the "map noise" of business labels and points of interest found in standard satellite or terrain views. By eliminating overlapping icons and labels, the grayscale map ensures maximum visual clarity for data layers, allowing developers to produce cleaner, professional-grade exports for lease agreements, financial modeling, and permitting paperwork.

Data center community sentiment

PVcase Prospect now features an AI-powered Community Sentiment Layer for data center developers in the United States. Leveraging a Large Language Model (LLM) to analyze news articles, town council notes, and municipal records, this feature geolocates local sentiment to identify supportive regions versus those with concerns regarding noise, water usage, or potential bans. By replacing weeks of manual public record research with instant, map-based insights, developers can avoid high-friction "dead ends" early in the process, significantly reducing risk and accelerating site selection in favorable markets.

Capacity updates & map filtering

PVcase Prospect has been updated with refreshed Capacity data for the NYISO, PJM, SOCO regions, ensuring technical compliance and precision in early-stage development. Additionally, the new "Filter to Map Extent" feature dynamically synchronizes the Evaluate Capacity sidebar with the user's current map viewport. This allows users to "zero in" on specific Points of Interconnection (POIs) within their area of interest, filtering out irrelevant nationwide data to streamline the workflow.

PVcase Ground Mount

QuickYield

QuickYield is a new PVcase Ground Mount feature that provides an approximate preview of a design's annual energy yield within seconds. The addition enables instant feedback on your design variations, accelerating your workflow and empowering you to make faster, more informed decisions during the critical early stages of a project without having to export to third-party software.
