The report finds that Italy pays back project capex fast, with 89% of projects expected to recover costs within six years. It also shows that the industry’s view of risk is narrow. Regulation is the dominant concern, while financing, grid interconnection and data management get less attention. Across all markets, 46% of professionals now say at least half their projects never reach construction, up from 32% last year.
