PVcase Ground Mount adds PVC 2.0 export, as reported by pv magazine

pv magazine reports on PVcase’s new open-standard export, which sends 3D project geometry straight to simulation tools like PVsyst.

pv magazine reported on the addition of PVC 2.0 export to PVcase Ground Mount. PVC 2.0 is an open, standardized file format that lets solar engineers move project designs directly into compatible simulation tools such as PVsyst, without manual file conversion or re-entering data. Benefits include:

  • Fewer errors: less manual data handling when designs move between tools

  • Full 3D geometry: the export carries the project layout, tracker details and terrain in a single file

  • Tested interoperability: PVcase and PVsyst validated the integration through joint testing before release

“Reliable project decisions begin with reliable data,” said PVcase CEO David Trainavicius, who added that open standards allow the industry to solve interoperability challenges together.
